Channa ID. golden snakehead??? what is this fish?! I MUST know

Found these pics labeled as "toman emas" which i guess means golden snakehead... the problem is i couldn't find the scientific name.
Some info suggested them to be a subspecies of the ch. Micropeltes but there was no real clear answer, so if anyone knows the scientific name, please reply

If you ignore the patterns. The body shape is a dead ringer for micropeltes.
 
I have no clue to be honest. I owned micropeltes over a decade ago before the ban here in USA. I'm sure they're breeding all sorts of variants in Asia just like they do for other exotic fish. I suspect this is a breeders trait morph of Micropeltes. Just a guess.
