Are any species of Channa legal in the US? I am specifically interested in Channa bleheri. If not too bad I guess, as I’m not interested in acquiring illegal species. Thank you.

None of the Channa are legal in the U.S.
Zero snakeheads are legal in the us, if that ever changes though there will be a public announcement on the forum anouncing it, I guarentee it.

The vast majority of snakeheads could never survive the winter in most of north america. They were only banned because of mass hysteria that had no basis in reality. No snakehead species is even close to as voracious as flathead catfish, which have been expanding their range across the country over the last few years, with and without human assistance. In the areas where they have become established they fill a niche similar to bowfins and have not been documented having any negative impacts on the local fish populations.
