A pair in the wild, guarding their brood ;).

Very excited to witness the beauty and grace of a wild pair. Please, please enjoy these photos as much as i enjoyed taking them :D.

Please note that i only took pictures and videos, no specimens!! They are needed to bring back the diminishing population. Tried to disturb them as little as possible too.

Beautyfull Splendids!

Did you shoot them near your place?

I have 6 growing. Whish they become as nice as those :)

very nice shots and gorgeous fish well done.

Woah that's awesome, I'd find northern snake heads in Maryland in similar settings, we were bowfishing for em though ;)

Yes they were, If they weren't invasive I wouldn't of speared/shot any lol really tasty fish though honestly better then anything else I caught and ate the whole trip. I had some pics on my old phone of ones in the water, biggest one was 20 inch and thick as my arm. If your ever in the Potomac area they are pretty easy to find
