Ok, so i have been thinking for a while that my flower line marulia was just a bit odd it that its the devil incarnate, i just resumed that it was a rowdy specimen but after reading a few more accounts... It seems that was probably naive?

I've kept various different SH's including micro's and cobras, so has tropheus. Neither of us could be leave the difference in the aggression and it seems common from my research. everyone always raves on about micro's being the evil sh.... WRONG!!!

Personally i think we should add a new common name: Satan's Snakehead.... They really deserve it....

yep got to second that , i have in the past kept a fair few dwarf types , i have a aurantimaculata, a pleuro did have a marulioides (soon to have an other) kept micro too approx 2ft then reholmed, and ive allways found that as long as they dont see it as food they just let things be , but the marulia man it is just pure evil ,way way more aggresive than a micro ,in fact after witnesing this one i would never house another one with anything else again, i certainly would not want to have a run in with a large one protecting fry , i vote channa marulia sp, satan lol
