My friend wants to give me a 2ft Channa Maurulius. aka ( channa ara in sri lanka/ bullseye snakehead.) Can I house it with a pair of 1.5 ft (18 inch ) alligator gars in a 9ft *3.5ft *4ft. I have never kept a big snakehead species before. Would the snakehead hurt my gars or would it be the other way round? If anyone has kept this monster before, pls share your experience with me. Are they very aggressive as micropelets?
By the way, I am aware abt the massive sizes both these fish grow to and I am prepared to provide them bigger tanks in the future. I just want to know the temperment and aggression of this species of snakehead and whether I could keep it with my gar pair.
