Channa Micropeltes colouration .. :D

I recently just purchased a channa micropeltes and was wondering when should i expect to see a change in colour on my SH? I am getting most eager to see the change

how old is your micro? color will start to change around 10 inches. will show dark coloration on top half of the body. then, booOm.. after a few months later, your micro will turn into a monster. just feed regularly good luck

not sure.. just bought it at about 6 inches.. top back of the channa is still orangy and reddish. thanks for the reply.. ill be waiting for my channa to reach 10 inches

Not sure.. My snakehead changed it's colouration when its around 10".

When the giant snakeheads get big enough, their color may be like this:

if i saw that fry ball in the everglades, i'd be one happy fisher .

at 10-12" it will start to fade into its darker colors, sometimes they wont change till 15". just be patient.

like every one else said just be pationt man it takes time .i have three and they changed color at different times of their lives and not all at the same time either
