Hello, to begin the story. I bought 4 juvenile channa micropeltes a year ago
They all received some sort of body fungus, I tried every medicine I could find but they didn't stop scratching against the gravel & rocks I had in the tank. I took the gravel & stones out then they started jumping up and going full speed for the heater and pump. Three of them died by scratching the scales off...
Now one of them is left, he hasn't eaten a lot since all his brothers died which was about 3 months ago. (He jumped out of the fish tank and I believe he broke his spine because he does not use his tail alot when swimming.
I've got 20 very small convict cichlids in the tank that he keeps trying to catch them but always stops at the last split second... (I'm not sue if he opens his mouth when attacking...)
I've tried feeding him shrimp like he used to eat but.. he eats maybe one and then pukes it back out.
Its painful watching your pet die slowly and in such a bad way, I'm hoping I get some good advice
