Considering this species - therefore has some questions.

-Is it accurate that the species will max out at apparently 3' in the home aquarium? Maximum size in nature is apparently 6'.

-They are approximately 4" - how quick do they grow? Will my 240G ( 8x2x2 ) even be adequate?

I suppose these are the only questions I have. I am quite concerned on the size that this beast can attain, and not sure if I am going to be able to provide it with the best space.

Thank you,

Plum

yup, they do get to 3' in aquariums maybe more...but no more than 4', very rare...and fyi they dont get to 6' in the wild. :)

Thank you for the clarification!

What size tank do people keep these beasts in?

Would they outgrow the 240G in 2 years?
