Just got this E mail

Wildwoods have recently taken delivery of a newly discovered species of dwarf snakehead now described as Channa ornatipinnis which originate from Myanmar. The fish were recently discovered and described by Dr Ralf Britz of the Natural History Museum.

The specimens available at Wildwoods do display slightly unusual markings with lots of black spots on the tops of their heads which Ralf Britz says are different to those he discovered in Myanmar. It is therefore possible they are a new species or variant.

This is the first time we believe these fish have been imported into the country and demand is likely to be high.

not cheap but a very nice fish

yer mark kept 8 for himself and got another 2 in this week.

not really a snakehead for the usual keeper though. by all acounts needs cool well oxyigenated water and a tank with plenty of hiding places.

could probably get a group in to order if anyone was intrested.

nice to meet you tropheus!
