Channa pleuro questions

Picked up a 2.5” channa pleuro from my LFS today that I added to my main tank but he is stressed out because of some of my larger fish I already have. My question is would I be able to add him to my small community aquarium temporarily until he gains a bit of size he’d be in with corys, small plecos and tiger barbs would these other fish be at risk

Probably better in the smaller tank till it puts on some size. Other fish probably get nipped on or end up missing.

Do you think he’ll eat my corys? I added him about 6 hours ago and he’s just hiding but worried he’s gonna settle and savage my shoal of sterbai corys
