I have one Channa pleurophthalma I've just put in my display tank he is with many fish but is fighting with my dat and aro will this stop he is quite smaller say16 cms but is holding his own a few fins missing but nothing too bad. I have heard dats aros and pleuro can be abit of a risk. Any information out there? I don't have another tank to put him in.

My advise is get the pleuro it's own tank. I know many places state they live in groups and tolerate tank mates but my experience has been quite different. They are good in groups and equale sized tankmstes when small but unpredictable and very aggressive as they get older ,
It's all with the fish. I have alot of plueros in my day and most were docile and didn't care about tank mates but some always wanted to fight.
