i've got 2 channa pulchra in my 55gallon ,my local fish shop had a tank with 5 pulchra in it three of them were beat up and two where in excellent condition so i purchased the tow good ones thinking they may have paired up.
one of them has been dominant over the other in my tank chasing the other one and forcing it to hide in a floating log and it only came out at feeding time and it's been this way for about three weeks.
until yesterday when i came home and found the normally dominant one beat up (no serious damage just ripped fins ) now hiding in the log and now only comes out to feed.
i was wondering if it would be a good idea to try and get more to see if i can get a pair or wait it out a bit longer to see what happens with these two first
