I'm planning to keep channas in my new 150g. If i go for C. asiatica, is it impossible to keep other fish in the same tank? what about 2 asiaticas? I've also considered C. lucius. I've read that these can reach 40cm in length, will they get too big for my tank? Are they as aggressive as the asiaticas? Are there other aggressive Channa spp. that can be kept well in my tank?

Thanks in advance!:)

In a 150, I would go for a pair of Aurantimaculata's. or if you like open water fish two or three Channa Pleuropthalma.
Excellent suggestion, jelly! :headbang2 My thoughts exactly!

Regarding asiatica, you can probably keep a pair of young juveniles together for a little while... but in time, they will eventually become intolerant of each other and will most likely have to seperate or divide. GL with what ever species you choose to keep. :)
