Thanks Scharoel, the plants have been doing well for almost a year. I've even used some of the clippings in this tank to fill in other tanks. All of the plants that I selected require low lighting. I'm sure that if I added CO2 and better lights they would grow out of control and would need more maintenance. The setup is very simple; I add excel and liquid ferts about once or twice a week.

Now that these fish finally have a proper name; Channa Andrao, I thought I'd update this thread with a couple quick pics.
