i have a male and female pair of fire and ice for sale.
Have lived together now for the last 6 months.
Perfect condition.looking for £120 for the pair.
Postage available at £10 next day delivery.

thats what i paid for them,and this pair has worked its self out from a group of 8.
Which cost me an arm and a leg,so the hard work is done.
 
If they are a spawning pair i could understand.
But that said I think the going rate for most Channa is a lot more in the UK as it is here in Japan, so I wouldn't really know.

Well they havnt spaned yet,and they havnt been bred in captivity yet.
And i agree with what you saying,prices in japan are alot cheaper.
well if anyone is intrested let me know,i have another two pairs of fire and ice,which
i am trying to breed,fingers crossed
 
Well as far as im aware he has bred the redfin and his fire and ice where holding,
and he was going to check them again,but there has been no confirmation of fry as of yet.read the thread he started on snakeheads uk again!!!
 
you might be right, I read it a while ago.
Still close enough, so I guess you are in with as much of a chance with your pair!

Hope someone does breed them soon, might bring these prices down a bit.
 
Hi well i never say ive bred anything untill i have fry swimming fry.
As you will know with channa,they have a habit of spitting or swallowing the eggs.

Anyway, I have badly derailed your thread, I'm sorry for that.

Come on guys, put your money in your pockets and invest in Thors Channa!
You could be the first to breed them! I have a couple and can vouch for how stunning these channa look! We call them "Kabuki" Snakehead here in japan. Look Kabuki up, and you will see why!
