Beautiful specimen and species for that matter. I miss mine so bad. Congrats on the pick up. Did you just get the one?

what happened to your specimens? I ended up getting 3 because i didn't want just 1 and i was afraid if i got 2 one would just kill the other (granted their notorious aggressive nature)

edit: if anyone has advice on raising this species, please let me know. I'm keeping mine at 18C as i've heard they like the water really cool and i've planted my tank fairly heavily so that theres lots of hiding spots from one another. Is there anything else i should be concerned about?

He had some kind of digestive problem as I found out soon after picking him up. There was blood in his waste. I lost him a week later...

Oh you got 3! They must look pretty impressive swimming together? 3 is always better than 2 and this will also increase the chance of a true pair forming! I can't give you any advice on them other than you already know so I'll say best of luck with them and keep us posted on how things progress.

they are fairly aggressive towards eachother so i rarely see them swimming together. i bought 3 because if you get 2 one will the beat the hell out of the other, where as 3 will disperse the aggression between them all (or at least that was the plan)

here are some of my pleuros
