channa striata trouble

my striata wanted to have a walk outside the tank .
is tank is full cover by a plastic cover that is split in 2 . so he just try to go on the feeding hole so he get 2 big scraths under is jaws .he already eat is active, still attak me . so let it eall alone or do something .
2 days ago i gave him a sparrow and he just grab under and eat it

is getting 35cm,m i try to give crayfish but he was to agressive even to my striata.
he eat everything that goes to the tank ,but now he doesnt like pellets ..
i gave him some home made beef burger so he take some garlik and veggis

dude, just feed it some gold fish,

sparrows could have germs or lice or something that can kill it, dont give it garlic. feeder fish or beef heart or whiting or whitebait or something from your local fish shop get some fillits or something.

hes main food is prawns and chicken heart, the burger was one that i didnt cook, he also get a small salt water fish (size 10 to 15cm), the sparrow i just gave one . the goldfish are very expensive here 1.5 Euros fish , they are not fedder in Europe , he also gets frogs e loves than . he is by himself so i dont no if put anything in the water because the scraths or just leave it.

Nothing wrong with garlic, it is an immuno booster and a mild vermifuge. Fish eat birds when the can get them, no problem.

well mine only eats feeders. he's 15 inchs i believe......

feed him a rat for all it cares.. striatas are evil

yes , he gone get some pinkys after is bigger is diner was chiken breast .
i dont now wow he can eat wall that food, but give him every 3 days one whit no food so i do water changes 30% on that day. is very messy. probly iam over feading but is still a baby and groing
