Hi!
I am thinking of keeping some sun tropical channa , however I live in Thailand and the average temperature is 28 to 30 Celsius and I am looking for an inexpensive way to cool down an aquarium.

There are lots of variety in Thailand , y u want a subtropical one , average temp is very high bro, lots of plants earthen pots might cool it down, but still risky

If you are lucky enough to have air conditioning, you could keep the room where the tank is at a steady temperature. I keep my Aurantimaculata this way, I keep the room at a steady 16° in the winter (via central heating ) and the summer weather keeps him warm enough over summer without the heating running. I'm in the UK, so it works well that way, but you could reverse the process in hotter climates
