Channa unable to eat

I have a 2 Auranti , they act like a pair and occasionally shred each others fins to bits.
Smaller of these (8")Is offlately unable to eat.
I feed them about once in 2-3 days mostly on hikari carni sticks occasionally on meat.
The smaller guy ( or gal) eagerly eats the pellet but then freaks out all over the tank spreading the powdered food and after about a few minute regurgitates all the food sticks he has eaten.messing up the tank water in process.
Could it be that the guy has some internal injury ?
They are with me for six months now , this started 2 weeks ago.
Any ideas ?

Straved the guy for a week and dewormed him in qt tank , a 8" tapeworm came out dead.
Now he's back to normal.


Lesson learnt, predatory fish from wild . deworm em !!

Glad to hear you figured out the problem. What did you use to deworm the fish?

A formulation of prazi and levamisole. Now both the fish will get dewormed once more 10 days apart.
