can channa bee treated whit salt.
in my comum tank they did break the heater making the temps go to
18 celcius , they are ok but mine Aro banjar red is not she is very letargic
and whit somme fungus showing, i lost one of my big albino GG.
2 days later had no electricid during the day

pima fix should be also ok for scaleless fish , it is 100% natural extract from indian bay leaves , the claris would encounter these in the wild . you are right to be warry of most meds with scaleless fish but pimafix should be safe , i have just checked there website and it does not mention not useing it with scaleless fish . give there customer service dept a ring if unsure .

i have used it before on other scaleless fishes without problem , but not on claris as yet . i do keep claris also and i would not have any problem useing it with mine .

another natural remidy is to put a big handfull of indian almond leaves in the tank these also have an anti bacerial / fungus substance in them and i have these in my claris tank without problem .

hi,
i used salt on serveral channas to cure in german its called "pünktchen" deases on the tankmates. No problem at all but there is the risk of a lost to the channa as with every medicine or so.
