Channel Cat with White Blotch (Not Ich)

So, I moved a channel cat from a filthy tank(Not my tank) and in the process, he thrashed around quite a bit and now in the "Middle" of his back near his top fin, theres a white blotch with some red dots on it. I have him now in a 50G rubber maid container and I'm trying to get an AC110 to stick on there or something.
What can I do?
I can try and post some pictures if my description was bad.

I don't want to lose this guy.

Did he just lose some scales? I bumped the temp up but I dont have any salt at the moment.

He probably just scratched himself in the move, he should be just fine and a little salt never hurts.
