Channel catfish

I have a blue channel cat now had sine 2" he is now about 14 in 9 months he eats like a pig he is pellet trained and eats off the surface. He swims on surface with mouth open and ears anything in his path it is funny to watch. He is in a 150g wit 8 other fish.

I have a Channel Cat - this particular one is growing very slowly - but is about 6 inches or a bit more, now. He eats anything that sinks.
I've had an albino that grew like a weed, to 18 inches in less than a year - that one was much more outgoing.
Both are / were kept with all kinds of fish - cichlids and other larger community fish - no problems at all either way.

We caught them at roughly 2' at a fish farm. They grew to over 2.5' in 2 years. These are them at a bit over 2':
I keep an albino channel with other cat species and an arowana and pike cichlid, seems to get along just fine. Also, bigger, do you have pics of your ponds? sounds pretty freaking amazing!
My albino grew to 18" in the first year, and was about 26" when he was killed by the ex at under 2 years of age. I kept him with, jau, rtc, tsn, Marble x RTC, oscars, bullheads, ect. He didn't bother anything that was too big for him to swallow. Constantly swam and was the first to eat. Fed him pellets on the top, and also frozen shrimp, fish fillets, ect. Awesome fish. Have also kept bullheads, stonecats, ect. Some members on here now with flatheads. Would like to get one myself.
Long story short they all got killed. Lost everything. Trying to rebuild and start over.
Pretty much like all other catfish.... Keep it with fish that won't fit in its mouth. That's your safest bet
