Small adoption fee applies to insure they go to a good home.
Seven silver dollar fish, five of which are large (4-6 inches, about the size of or slightly larger than the palm of a man's hand), one of them is a red hook. Two are smaller, about 2-3 inches. All are healthy and have been well cared for.
AND a large, (approx 2 feet long) silver arowana. This fish is worth somewhere in the range of $200. Junior is healthy, he does have a slight case of drop eye, but this is common in aqaurium kept arowanas, it does not effect his health or his appetite. He is non-aggresive, (but he may jump, so weigted lids are a must) and currently shares his home with the above listed silver dollars, and a jack dempsey and a severum.
Here is the kicker, you must have a 180 gallon or greater tank to house the arowana, at least 6 foot long. He may still do some growing, and anything less simply will not do. We are attempting to re-home him because we are breaking down the tank to do a major overhaul, and will re-stock with something else.
We live about 2 hours from Charlotte and you will need to make arrangements to pick up the fish here, at our home, we will not attempt to ship him. My boyfriend will help you catch him, and you will need at least a 25 gallon cooler to transport him in.
Make a reasonable offer on the arowana and the silver dollars.
IF you can prove you can offer him (Junior) a good home, he may go to you for free! I will try to post some photos later this evening.
