I have a 55G community tank with rainbow fish, silver dollars, a pink kisser gourami, some bottomfeeders etc..... My issue is I just put in 2 new yellow/blue rainbow fish and 2 new blue rainbow fish and ever since I put them in its like my kisser fish has gone berzerk. He wont leave them alone and chases everything in my tank except my 2 small (one inch) and 2 large (2-3 inch) silver dollars.. but I think thats because the silver dollars always school together. prior to the rainbow fish being introduced the kisser fish used to keep to himself.
I just dont want this to lead to tail nipping and my fish being stressed out but I have never had this happen and this is my first tank that ive actually put effort into. I dunno if I should seperate him or just let it commence. Its funny to watch but I cant help but think of how bummed id be to find one of my new rainbow fish with half of there tail fins missing.
