Now that I ordered my few thousand rounds, I will pass this on to my MFK gun brothers.

Sportsmans Guide just got in some cheap (at least in today's market!) 7.62x39mm. Its $107.97/500rds. Its Barnaul 123gr FMJ.

They got it in last night and its moving FAST at that price.

Its not on their website, you must call 1-800-888-5222 and reference item # WX2-136734.

damn that is a pretty good price. anything cheap in 5.56?? :) i wish my gun could handle steel-cased ammo :(

In their last catalouge they had Barnaul steel cased 5.56. My last AR ate steel cased just as well as my AKs. Have you tried shooting steel cased?

I order battle packs from them all the time but I didn't renew my membership with them this year. :(

Oh well, that's still a really good deal. Thanks for the heads up!

And I've never had any issues with shooting steel cased ammo through either of my Bushmaster AR's.

i just got their membership. The savings I got on this order paid for the membership, plus I get a $20 coupon, plus I save 10% on all purchases (ammo is 5%) from here on out.

I have 1,000 more rounds of 5.54x39 on back order so I will save 5% on that, plus the woman and I want to get a few NBC suits and quality gas masks so the saving should help there too!

I should buy something that shoots 7.62, just because I want to.

I wish they had that deal on .40SW. I went to their warehouse (it's like 2 miles from me) and bought 100rds. Cost me $80.

The price for 7.62x39 is going up and up. Just three or four years ago I was buying it for 8cents a round and now Im happy to find it less then 25cents a round! :irked:

I have two weapons that fire it, a Romanian RPK-47 and Romanian AKM-47 and they are HUNGRY!
