hi all wat ya opinion on these cheap copies , have you bought one?wat brand was it?did it last ?was it any good?

Been using quite a few of these canisters and they work quite well depending on the filter media you use. Best I've tried so far are the white fiber media coupled with a handfull of Sera ceramic substrates for nitrifying bacteria growth. So far this combination clears up the tank water well. What I hate about this canisters is that it easily gets clogged and frequent cleaning is needed. Other than that, I guess they're good enough.
My china made one had its impeller melted into the motor head after about 7 months of use.... but then again they cos like 1/10 of an Eheim of the same capacity...
