I paid less then 2 bucks for a 16 oz bag of polly fill. I have placed this in both of my sumps, the 16 oz bag was enough to fill each of them up 2 too 3 times each. they last 2 weeks or so before they look nasty, and I through them out.

My water is crystal clear, I thought it was clear before, but dang its super clear now. Granted its not diatom clean I am sure, though I have never seen diatom filtered water. I can filter my tanks 24/7 for about 8 years for the same price as a diatom filter.

I wouldn't recommend this in anything other then a sump, where you can just dump it in to the trash, and drop some more back in.

Walmart. That's where I got my quilt batting for about the same price.

Don't get it at Wal-Mart.

For a few pennies more, you can go to Michaels or lots of other places that don't abuse their employees and fish...

Michaels even usually has a 40% off coupon in the Sunday paper that makes it much cheaper than Wal-Mart.

Well I don't know what michaels is , and a big lot is way to far away, I have no problem buying from walmart, I have had crummy jobs where I was under paided. You know what I did? I said enough is enough and got a better job, through education. So if you feel their being abused ask your self why are they working there, and do they have a problem with it.

WalMart is Not a Prison camp, and the prices are right
I'm about price point, and the employees are not chained to their jobs that I can see...heck, alot of them can't do the job anyway, or don't want to...

The less I spend on stuff the more stuff I can get...

And that ends the derailment of "nfored's" thread.

nfored, yes this is great for polishing, but you should have been using it for a pre-filter and this shouldn't be necessary ;).
