I'm looking for the cheapest places online to find live rock and wondering what other members have found. I don't really care what kind it is more interested in a great price. Any info greatly appreciated.

The cheapest live rock is dry base rock!!! By putting it in water and letting it "cure" for a month or two you will make it live bacterially. Then if you want other critters and coralline algae you can seed it with a piece or two of live rock from the store or fellow hobbyist.

BulkReefSupply.com is one of the places you can get rock from for a good price. If you buy today, it is on sale. 50 lbs for $99.99. Shipping for orders over $175 ship free(this includes rock). If you don't spend $175, shipping for one 50 lb box would be about $30 bucks.
 
Well then 2 or more boxes would be a good choice for you since they would be shipped free. Not sure how long the sale lasts, I think just through today. When not on sale each 50 lb box is about $125.

Another option if you must absolutely have all live rock is to look on local reef forums for people selling. Craigslist in Chicago always seems to be active too.
 
Nice thanks. I've had bad experiences on craigslist and don't go on anymore. Usually if its to good to be true.............
