I bought a real heat bulb and screwed it in my lightfixture.Turns out the socket got stock to the bulb and the bulb part broke off.I was pissed.


Im taking the bulb and the part stuck in the fixture back tomrow.

I've had that happen. You can sometimes get it with pliers. I hear cutting a potatoe in half and sticking it on there and twisting can help too.

i just had that happen with a screw-in floresent over my BW tank, i've found that smearing a little vasaline on threads around the base helps.
