Cheap pond pellets?

Anybody have long term success, growth, color, etc with some of the cheaper pond pellets for their rays?

Massivore is stupid expensive at $20+ per pound and I can burn through 2 2.2 lbs bags a month on top of worms and tilapia. Some of my rays are now accepting kens pellets which helps a bit but just want to know what other cheaper options others have used.

Massivore is near £30 for 380g over here, not sure what that is in dollars but that's less than 1lb in weight, we can't get the 2lb bag over here.

a good quality sturgeon pellet should be find if your feeding a varied diet.

NLS

I've looked at NLS and have only found smaller mm pellets, something 7 to 10mm would be great for my needs.

+1, I use the nls 10mm pellets. Lasts alot longer than massivore does. Plus it has definitely improved the color of my rays

The ash content in the NLS is about half that in the massivore also, ash content being fish waste in the end.

Why not talipia? 5$ for 2.2lbs
