it always depends on the particular product, check several stores when you want to buy something expensive
 
i dont know whos cheaper but i switched to prime a while back it seems more expensive but its not in the long run i have a 500ml bottle thats still have full $19.99 i would have used a jug of the others for $34.00 by know and it has no additives to leave a slime coat on the waters surface ..
 
Has anyone tried sodium thiosulfate its a declor.and cheap. Google it, I have read you can overdose with no problems... but do the research first. trying to find some locally now.
 
Ok thanks, well I bought a gallon of stress coat from big als today for $22.99. I have always used TLC triple concentrate but that was back in Socal and I cant get it anymore, 32 ounces was $79.00 though.
 
You may want to look up Seachem's "Safe" product. A 250 gm bottle goes for $ 8.99 and will condition 50,000 gallons. I get it from CustomAquatics which is one of the links provided in one of the posts here. It is the dry version of Prime.

I dilute a 250 gm bottle with two liters of distilled water and use it the same as the dosage for Prime. A two liter bottle of Prime will cost you over $ 30, even at Big Al's.
