I need a project and I want en excuss to build some large wet/dry filters so im going to convert my old shed into a indoor pond. Its a nice strong shed but we never use it so im just going to add a wooden structure from wall to wall on the inside and use the other walls of the shed as the other sides of the pond. Then im gunna just use some plastic sheeting to seal it. After that I will cross my fingers and add water. Hopefully it will work but if it doesnt it wont really matter and ill find someway to fix it till it does. Should be fun and interesting either way! This is just going to be used over the summer to house natives that we will eat in the fall. Anyone know a super cheap type of plastic sheeting I could use? Pond liner is too $$$ and i dont need it to last that long.
I was thinking maybe a HUGE tarp? They are claimed to be water proof but im not 100% on that.
What are your ideas?!
