as stated in titleim looking for a full co2 kit capable of sustaining a nano tank bout 20L if that iv read that HC, Hemianthus callitrichoides needs co2 to more than bright light.

id love to have HC but if there are any other plants are nice as a carpet, id like to know more.

are these all the things ill need for a complete cO2 system?

- CO2 Stabilizer
- CO2 Activator
- Designed for tanks up to 20 U.S. gallons (75 l), for larger aquariums use multiple units
- Affordable, safe and user friendly means of CO2 supplementation for live aquatic plants
- Easy to install
- Does not require constant adjustments
- All natural fermentation process
- Results evident in just 15 days
- Coloful display box

No it is "DIY" you're not going to get consistancy which will lead to BBA and other algae issues.
The one I suggested isnt much more.

This sounds like the system I used to have, I believe it was made by Hagen. I have since stopped using it and started using seachem flourish excel and have much better results.

I'm not gonna lie that setup jason posted looks sweet. I did diy for a ten gallon, and really didn't have any trouble. I know it's less controlled, but I had spent a bit too much cash on the diy lights/ferts so I went cheap with the co2. I did start getting bba once I got bored of the whole planted tank thing and stopped paying close attention to when I needed to switch out my bottle.
If I were you though, I'd shell out the extra bucks and get that setup, it looks nice and if your really getting into the planted tank thing you won't regret it

well i just done a diy co2 thing.. using yeast n sugar.. i can see how uncontrolled it is allready. but since iv made it n set it up in the tan ill leave it n see. yhh i agree about sxy lookin 1. i just dnt have the money for it atm. eventually ill get it. i just bought the glass defusser with a currly bit in side.

That does look like a nice setup. How long would one of those cartridges last?
Whats the maximum tank size it would work on?
