Cheapest online price for FX5/6

I see so many post of members buying their brand new fluval fx5 for around 250ish. I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find a decent price on one new. Have them raised their prices recently... cant find one under 300+. If anyone can direct me to a good online vender selling these at a great price please post up.

Those days are long gone guys. Hagen has since standardized their pricing across the boards, so expect to pay $325+ for FX6
 
if you want a good filter at a low price , online, these days I would recommend XP3 off of AMAZON... BUY 2 IT'S A lot cheaper than an fx5 and at least the equal of it(2 xp3's)
 
The prices of the FX5s have gone up I got both of mine for 250 each. They were a good buy at that price not sure about paying for one 300+ I would just get a Eheim 2262.
 
Ya seems ever sincr fx6 came out price of fx5 has gone up to about the same price as fx6. You would think they would want to clear out discontinued product at lower price.

All I can say is if I sell one of mine used the price just went up from the norm

+1 on this, they now have price control over the fx6 so things like amazon and such can not discount them< similar to eheim.

I couldn't agree more. Set mine up about a month ago. It's a beast. Big Al' s. $399 shipped.
