My local hardware store sells sheets of thinner plexi ($10-14 a sheet) and they even cut it for me!
Buy rubber stoppers (10 - 15 cents each) and glue them on for handles.

Air is pretty cheap. You could call any local glass companies and get a custom piece probably cheap.
I got a 220 with no lid n I dont even know if they make hoods for a tank that big. What I did was measure the width of light and cut a piece of glass to size. Then got ply wood.... Measured the extra space and filled it in with wood.... If ur gonna use wood tho u need to get this liquid rubber stufff.... Its cheap. I got mine in a spray can n u need to coat the wood or t will get water loged... But all n all it was like 30 40 bucks.
