well....

a few weeks ago just after my update on the tank a string of sh^t luck.
first my sturgeon dies randomly. then my niger and pinktail triggerfish get into a full on cling-on battle. grunts, clicks, headbutts, bites you name it they did it. not out of the ordinary because they did fight once in a while when in between feedings. then the pinktail must have been injured bad as it stopped eating and just hid. it then became white and had a mucus on it. the mucus went away in a day and it seemed to be getting better. the next day my niger, bluejaw, and pinktail have the mucus. tonight i find my pinktail dead, the bluejaw hiding and no mucus on any fish.
so i put the food away so the system can regroup from the fish death as it had to of happened last night or some time yesterday. as i am feeding my large freshwater preds i see alot of commotion in the salt tank, witch intrigues me as that is not normal. i look to see my niger, piccasso, bicolor angel, and lunar wrasse decimating my black male percula clownfish resulting in its death after some serious wounds.
all the while i am almost done with the 120 gal preparations and the sump for it. just need to order in sum pumps, sand and rock. then they will be separated from the smaller nonpreds. i was just telling my brother the other day that if the pinktail were to die all hell would break out in the tank cause it kept everything in its place as the top aggressor in the tank, then i am proven right yet again.
they may have also taken out a scooter blenny without me seeing since i seem to be missing one or its just hiding real well.
damn it!!!!!
oh ya, i lost a channel cat and almost lost another to my hybrid rtcxtsn during the condensing to make the 120gal available for the salt transformation. you can see a vid of the one channel i saved in the catfish section.
