My smaller female Hait finally dropped some. I've always had success with my bigger female but this is the first time for the smaller one. I introduced a smaller male a few months ago and now they're the same size. He still has a lot of catching up to do with the bigger female but hopefully the bigger female accepts him when I introduce him in a few months.

The smaller female never turns jet black.

congrats man. are you going to eat them sunny side up or boil them?:)

Awesome! I haven't had any luck with a smaller male with my female. They've had eggs numerous times, but no fertilization. The female is just too protective of the eggs and chases him away!

This female tolerates the male even though the male is younger. I saw them fanning together this morning and only found 3 eggs that turned white. Hopefully, the male fertilized the eggs.

Last time mine spawned, there didn't seem to be any fungused eggs for the first couple of days... then at day 3, pretty much all were :(
