I am still a bit unsure when it comes to saltwater.
Ph. 8.2, Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0. My question is about the nitrate. After cycling shouldn't it be moving up? I don't think it is a bad thing to be 0 just wandering if I am checking it wrong. I am using the API saltwater test kit and following the directions exactly. It finished the Ammonia and nitrite cycle about 3 weeks ago. It is 120g with 10 fish 3" or under. I feed moderate amounts 3 to 4 times a day. I am also running an xP3, two power heads and a skimmer.
I am probably being silly asking about it but I want to get this saltwater stuff nailed down. That way I can upgrade to bigger and better.
