Been trying to get a male jag and saw this guy at the LFS. I am the first to admit I may not be the best with sexing jags but I think I got this one. Never hurts to confirm it with you great people. Is it a boy? He/she is about 8 inches.

That's a nice male. Try to get a shot of him when he's still, shine a bright light on him to get that purple to come out.
What do you guys think the chances are of keeping him for a 3-6 month window with a 7 inch male dovii? Probably hit and miss. Thank for the compliments.

It more than likely depends on both fishes' personalities. But, I've got a bunch of big killers (see sig) together without any problems. If you decide to keep them together, make sure you have a back up plan in case things don't go well.
