I also have a strange friendship in my tank. My Fire Eel and Striped Bass have become very friendly. I have seen them hunting together. (Bloody camera is never at hand when you need it)

My Payaras best pal is Nandus Nandus - Gangantic Leaf Fish, they hang exclusively. As for the other tankmates, he's shanked 2 Chalceus and a Cuda, and most certainly tries to shank the other 2 cudas and the brycon. For the most part they steer clear of the Payara. Nice pic BTW hope their union lasts.
