Yea i know it has driftwood but am going to Do it as soon as the aro chills because i just got him

Congrats. Just curious, is that a dyed aro?

i was wondering the same, if it was dyed, because you say the blue only lasts a short time.

dyed fish are so unethical and in-humane it isn't even funny. do a google search on the processes used. i'm sure you'll never buy another dyed fish again.

I've often wondered if people just look at the pics and not bother to read the post. Clearly that is indeed the case.

Ha ha. My apologies, I'm still dreaming. I need a cup of coffee right away.

Congrats! How do you know it will only last a couple of years? Honestly, base on your posted pictures, I doubt if it will last a year...

You'll see that a lot in the forum...

Very sad, anytime anyone purchases these fish. If nobody would buy, they'd quit torturing these poor things to make a quick buck. Your aro looks to have fin rot, better treat it before it worsens. Couple that with being dyed, you have bought yourself a very unhealthy fish.

Honestly, this poor thing probably get the same "torture" as those high shine that you've seen being sold lately. Dye, feeding hormone, or probably "bleach" (who knows) is some of those tricks they do to fish to move them faster...
