native, a piece of cedar.. theres a lady by me that cures and sells them, huge selection, that piece there was 15 bucks!!

only thing is they float like theres no tomorrow... so i went to walmart bought some suction cups and fishing leaders, anchored it down to the bottom. worked pretty good
