Please do more research before giving wrong answers like this one...:screwy:

"High Back" is the term they use for Red Tail Golden with their shine (or gold color) reaching the 5th level, compared to "normal" RTGs where their shine level only goes up to the 4th level. But personally, I have seen "normal" RTGs with 5th and even 6th level shine, and also vice versa, HBRTGs with only 4th level shine...

^ thanks for that, Not so expensive.
Looking at a normal RTG 10,000BHT would be doable!
Man, I'd be happy with a green one, i would bet they're half the price.
Super Red seem to be pretty expensive, Shelook Red are open here, but their fish are expensive, 30,000BHT!
here's their website
http://www.shelookred.com/home.php?whb=2

Have a look in thier gallary, outstanding is all that comes to mind!
I was looking at Jardini yesterday, 10in fish, nice shine and pattern. 800BHT.
thats about 15 pounds or 30 dollas, not so cheap really.

Yes RTGs around here (Canada) also cost around 400-500$. It is a bit expsensive, but in my opinion well worth it. If I were you, I would save up a little bit more and go for an RTG instead of a green. Personally, I find Green Asian Aro not worth a lot more than Jardinis, colorwise...

I am able to see your point, I don't own one yet but to be honest, when I do I think it will be a RTG. I don't see a big difference colour wise with Jardinis, but the difference in fish shape and look is a big one, IMHO. Asian have fewer scales and aren't as long. You are right though, If i spend a lot on a set up I may as well buy a fish that's worthy.

:banhim: LOL..like Eken said, higher shine but most RTGs now are turning into HB, harder to find one thats pure RTG
