The hoses on that Marineland 360 make me want to cringe. I don't trust those plastic screw on lock. I took those off and use a metal hose clamp from Home Depot. If I were you I would cut the hose shorter so kink will not develop. Nice room, nice setup, and nice fish too.
Ya, how come your parents don't like fish tanks in a room? How big are those tanks? Two 4 feet tanks? Are your filters pretty quiet? The reason I asked is because I have 5feet fish tank in my room, too.

i have threetanks in there a 10 75 an 135 an we just got new teak hardwood flooring an with 3 aquariums water will get on the floor an they dont like that!! also my room has a day bed for when guest come over an noone can sleep in there because they say its to nosiy (but i sleep fine) an final they think its to much moneys to spend on a hobby
