he does have some nice fish and setups.
but check out this guys stands
some i might not be seeing right.lol

pic 1,how many tanks can you stuff on one stand
and a few overhanging.

pic 2,steel stand on bottom,then 2 6x6s,then 2x6's standing upright,then no plywood,then thick styrofoam,then no plywood again,then tank.
if that styro split that tank would fall and hit the 2x6's.

pic 5,another tank hanging half off.

pic 9,got overhang? :grinno:

From what the article says he is supposed to be somewhat of a professional fish breeder alos. All I know is that from the looks of the photos something tells me that room smells kinda funky - bird living on the fan an all.

I over hang almost ALL my tanks which are usually end on since I can fit more tanks into my fish rooms that way. I overhang about 8cm which allows me to put T piece pipe directly against the bottom for my standpipes as I get a straight horizontal drain run eliminating one PVC joint. Each row of tanks below overhangs slightly further so any dris go into a tank below. Most of my stands are 4 tiers high.

I dont know about the guy pictured but I hve valid reasons for what I do and my setup is quite safe as I have thousands of dollars worth of fish and Im confident about what I do.

some of those set-ups look kinda sketchy! :nilly: ...i would never try that myself...oh and just a thought, (in pic#2) what would happen if the bird on the fan took a crap? i could only guess that he would get a face full of s**t!:ROFL::ROFL:
