Some Dats (especially Indos) just never get stable. They will just get less/more stable. I have a couple small indos that look similar to that. Sometimes they are a bit better and other times they look really bad.

Looks healthy, how big is it?

he is one of the smaller guys, he is only about 4"

i dont think he is considered "unstable" though. i have other dats and none of them look anything like him when they are unstable. he doesnt have distinguished bars... it is more spotted, but i could be wrong.

is other dats species color unstable beside indo? or just indo

Any species can be unstable. Indos just seem to be more likely to be unstable, and many times will stay that way for a very long time. Some people think that Indos naturally get more stable the older they get.

it reminds me of cazy that hit singapore about a year ago

they called them patchy ST as most of the ones for sale were ST

this looks like a patchy IT :D
