Saw this unique fellow at an LFS I frequent. Though about scooping him up, but he just looked too strange haha...

EDIT: The angle of the picture doesn't truly show how compact he is - thats what I get for asking my girlfriend to take the picture

Maby was originally in a dirty small tank growing up or is this a genetic issue?

His entire form was very weird. Cichlasomniac - not sure. I know that shortbodied fish are sometimes bred for the deformity, so it is possible that it is genetic.

Just another deformed fish that the fishstore is trying to pawn off on someone else. These fish should be disposed of at an early age.
