was gonna pick up a pair of uaru a. but ended up with a $40 red severum. my question is the thing is 1.5" maybe a bit smaller. so far it looks like it has a botch of red around the stomach area with faint little red spots going down to the caudal tail. the face area is spotted red already. the lfs also had another red sev that was 2" or a little bigger that was bright red like this guy:

the guy that I bought looks like this:

will my little guy grow up bright red like the first guy? or will he look something like this:

or is it just a waiting game n cross my fingers n hope 4 the best?

my red sev looks exactly like this guy, but my guy is only <1.5"

also i think its a female red sev, b/c the anal n dorsal tail ends r very short n rounded, is a female red sev rarer?

looks male to me, and it has a good chance of being about 1/2 red and 1/2 yellow probably not like the first pic you showed
