Over the last couple weeks, this FH keeps getting lighter in color. Still has a great appetite, is quite a bit more aggressive than usual. But he is getting lighter and lighter. I know they change shades based on moods, but what exactly does this mean? Some of you guys saw the last pic I posted of this fish asking about his head growth. This is the same one. Thanks for the help.

I'm starting to get that a lot that it may be a she. Why do you think the sudden change in colors?

As they mature they change color, some do it fast, some take months. Its a normal process, I cant view the pic but I would not worry much about it if it is eating and acting normal. If it darkens up and shows bars it may be ready for some breeding, otherwise it is just growing up.
