So i have this tank and sump, the tank is 4' x 7' x 1' and the sump is 6' x 24" x 19". The tank itself will house 2 pair of motoro stingrays and the sump will contain a refugium, or basically a well planted tank. I have had great success with saltwater refugiums, but i havent had much luck with growing plants in freshwater. I hope with a little know how that will change. Im still trying to figure out how im gonna set this thing up.

Eventually, i would like another pair, but for now 1 pair is fine. Maybe someday ill score a pair of leos or something.

i would use floating plants like water lettuce or hyacinth becasue the roots still have the same affect. but being on the surface they will not be short on co2. its simple the more light it gets the more co2 it needs and the more nutrients it uptakes. i would not want to add co2 to the rays tank.

if not use something that grows fast like anacaris
